SYNCHRONY (c, 2, Tapit–Brownie Points {GSW, $951,230}, by Forest Wildcat) was a distant second first up going six furlongs here Sept. 12, and broke through by 3 3/4 lengths over Keeneland's Beard Course Oct. 11. Adding Lasix this time, the Abercrombie homebred was backed down to even-money and got the job done. Away a bit slowly, the chestnut was hard-held early by Shaun Bridgmohan to caboose the field while three paths off the rail. He began picking off rivals along the bend, and came wider still as second choice Uncle Walter (Uncle Mo) took over into the lane. That rival fought back once Synchrony collared him, but the chalk was up to the task and dug deep to score by a head. Lifetime Record: 3-2-1-0, $75,440.
